Growing Up…

It is hard for me to believe that my little girl is no longer little….she is growing into a beautiful young lady!  Tonight was 8th grade recognition at Chisholm Middle School.  She has handled the transition to middle school by being involved in many activities.  Since 6th grade, she has been involved in Circle of Friends, CMS News, Yearbook, Stucco, 7/8 grade tennis, 8 grade track, orchestra, and has been on the honor roll every semester.  She makes me very proud and thankful that I can be her mom.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I just wanted to wish my mom a Happy Mother’s Day!!  I don’t think that as a child you can appreciate and understand all that your mom does for you until you have children of your own.  The word that comes to mind when I think about my mom is “strong.”  She has gone through alot over the last four years and she had demonstrated a strength that I hope I have when life challenges me.  Thank you for all you have done to make me the person I am today.  I love you…

The other thing that I keep thinking about this Mother’s Day is how much I love Elizabeth and Erik!!  I can’t even image life without them and when they are hurting my heart is heavy too, which I didn’t think would be possible before becoming a mom.  They have helped to make my life complete.  I love both of you.
